The Catholic Independent Schools of Kamloops Diocese (CISKD) operates 6 schools — two K-12 schools (one of which is a distance learning school that serves families across the province) as well as four K-7 ‘brick and mortar’ schools serving the southern interior of BC.

Our ‘brick and mortar’ schools serve a large region from Quesnel to Vernon. Our schools are proudly served by highly committed and talented staff members with a strong sense of community and are each located in amazing recreational areas of our province that offer employees easy access to healthy lifestyle activities!

+ Preliminary Interview
All applicants wishing to work in the CISKD must first be approved by the Superintendent’s Office. A preliminary interview with the Superintendent may be arranged once all documents are received.
PLEASE NOTE: Only applicants that have been approved by the CISKD Office can be interviewed locally for employment consideration or as a contracted instructionally-related service provider.

+ School Selection Committee Interviews

Principals, Pastors and School Council Representatives of individual schools form the School Selection Committee and interview eligible applicants obtained from the Superintendent’s Office. In some circumstances, a Principal may conduct a local preliminary interview with the candidate. Shortlisted applicants for employment will be recalled for a second interview with the school’s Selection Committee.

+ Position Offered
Of the short-listed applicants, the school Selection Committee recommends the candidate of choice for hire to the Superintendent of Schools who provides the offer of employment and coordinates the contract with the candidate of choice. Once a signed contract is received in the Office of the Superintendent, the school contacts the shortlisted interviewed candidates to inform them that the position has been filled.
